ONLINE FEATURES SUBMISSION FORM
When submitting, please follow the guidelines outlined on this page. Upon reviewing submissions, FOREIGN LOOK Magazine reserves the right to accept or deny any submission we receive (this also includes after a pull-letter has been provided). Submissions are reviewed based on their content, quality, and relevance. FOREIGN LOOK Magazine looks to publish the highest quality work.
* Every submission must include the title of the editorial story and a small paragraph describing the inspiration and story behind it.
* Please note: Your submission can be canceled/rejected at any time, even after being accepted.
Our team of editors works to see what's best for the magazine and reserves all the rights on this matter.

WHAT TO SUBMIT
Submitters can submit an existing series that one has created strictly for FOREIGN LOOK Magazine.
Anyone is eligible to submit (photographers, wardrobe stylists, makeup artists, etc.). The submitter must provide information regarding the entire team that worked on the submission.
NOTE: All submitters shooting for FOREIGN LOOK Magazine are not 100% guaranteed to be featured in an upcoming issue or online feature. Our editorial team reviews every submission and reserves all rights to their selection. If your work is not accepted, you will be issued a full refund. You will see the refund in your account within 8-12 days from the rejection date.
***Please note: not all submissions are refundable. Careful review before submitting.
* CREDITS AND CORRECTIONS FEE ($15):
Make sure when you upload the credits, that they are correct and that Instagram handles are added to all team members. For any corrections, there will be a $15 fee charged to make them after the publication of the work. Corrections are only available for 14 days after release. NO CORRECTIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE AFTER THE 14 DAYS.
*** If it is determined that the correction issue happened on our end. You will be notified, and no correction fee will be charged.
* CANCELLATION POLICIES. ($25):
There is a cancellation fee of $25. This fee is non-negotiable and non-refundable and is intended to cover administrative costs associated with processing and publishing submissions. Kindly note that this fee is standard company policy and applies to all cancellation requests made after the work in question has been published. This fee must be sent to FLMAG before the removal of the work. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our cancellation policy.

*ARTICLE & INTERVIEW SUBMISSION:
A writer can submit an article or interview that follows the publication’s theme. Articles about the fashion industry, fashion designers, artists, travel, architectural and interior design, and culture articles, interviewing individuals who are changing the world in their field.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Our team of editors carefully reads every submitted article/interview and reserves all the rights in selection and acceptance. If your work has been accepted, you’ll receive an email notification confirming the feature. All articles and interviews should be relevant to the magazine’s topics of interest: Fashion, Art, Architecture/Interior Design, Culture, and Travel.
All articles are to be exclusive to FOREIGN LOOK Magazine, and shall not be submitted to any other publication before submitting to FLMAG.
Article & Interview submission fees are non-refundable.
All articles and interviews must be sent to our team as an attachment with the submission.
The submitter [author] is responsible for all spelling and punctuation.
Minimum word count: 1,000 words.
PERKS: Your name will be credited as a contributor-writer/editor. You will be provided with a digital PDF Tear-sheet of your featured article, and if for print, the cover of the issue, the credit page, and the table of contents.
* REFUND POLICY
— No refunds will be provided for submissions canceled by a submitter without cause.
— No refunds will be provided if submission information is incomplete or contains an error that causes delayed publication or errors in the final product.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
— Any submissions accepted by Foreign Look Magazine should ONLY be featured with Foreign Look Magazine. If we find out the submission is featured with another magazine, we will immediately remove your feature.
— Image selection and layout are determined by us. We might not use all the images provided and might do small retouches to the photographs.
— WE DO NOT pay for submissions; all photo shoot expenses for a submission to the magazine are covered by the team conducting the project.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
As a contributor, all the images you submit for any issue of FOREIGN LOOK Magazine must be copyright-free. The submitted works must be all done by yourself, and you must be the authentic copyright holder. If whichever submission(s) get involved with any copyright entanglement because of the above, your eligibility will automatically be revoked. You will be responsible for all the legal consequences under all circumstances, regardless of FOREIGN LOOK Magazine’s awareness or not.
To achieve a better layout design, FOREIGN LOOK Magazine also has the right to use, edit/color correct, enlarge, reduce, and/or crop the original photograph.
**Please Note: Taking effect on January 9, 2023. Paid online submissions will become free to view to the general public, and Free online submissions will only be viewable for FLMAG’s over 2K members. This also means the password-protected Contributors Area will no longer be available on our site.
Editors reserve all rights to the selection.

IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
7-24 images.
JPG format.
sRGB color profile.
At least 300 dpi.
Must be exclusive and unpublished.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
— Cover Selection is executed by FLMAG’s team of editors for each print issue.
— FOREIGN LOOK Magazine does not provide free print copies, we also don’t pay for submissions, and all photo-shoot expenses for a submission to the magazine are covered by the team conducting the project.
— Any submissions accepted by FOREIGN LOOK Magazine should ONLY be featured with FOREIGN LOOK Magazine. If we find that the submission is featured in another magazine, we will remove your feature immediately.
— Image selection and layout are determined by us. We might not use all the images provided.
PULL-LETTERS
FOREIGN LOOK MAGAZINE receives up to 300 pull-letters demands each month for photoshoots. Around 90% of the time, after we provide pull-letters, these photoshoots never happen or are submitted to other magazines. Because of this, we have decided to implement a fixed fee for pull letters of USD$10.00. If you do not wish to pay this fee, we completely understand. There are other ways to insure your samples such as giving a deposit or lending your credit card to the designer(s). We will be happy to review your editorial submissions afterward.
If you are a serious team and would like us to provide you with a pull letter for your photoshoot, please submit your photoshoot details below. This purchase will guarantee a pull letter but it does not guarantee that your editorial will be accepted to be published. Also, make sure that the dates and the team are exact and final, as we don’t offer multiple pull-letters per purchase.

Step 2: Send an email with the subject: Pull-Letter Request to foreignlookmagazine@gmail.com with the following information:
Paypal email used.
Photographer name and website.
Stylist name and website.
Date of the photoshoot.
Moodboard attached to the email.
By requesting the pull-letter, the requester acknowledges and agrees that they may be held responsible for any damages incurred to items on loan from FLMAG. The requester understands that they are liable for the care and handling of these items during the loan period. In the event of loss, theft, or damage beyond normal wear and tear, the requester agrees to compensate FLMAG for the full cost of repair or replacement of the items.
The requester further acknowledges that it is their responsibility to ensure proper handling, storage, and transport of the loaned items. FLMAG reserves the right to evaluate the condition of the items upon their return and determine any necessary charges for damages.
By sending a pull-letter request, the requester accepts these terms and conditions and releases FLMAG from any further liability related to the loan of items.

Image selection for the cover is chosen by our team of editors alongside the magazine’s Editor-in-chief once all submissions are in.
